NORTHSTAR / REGISTER FIELD GUIDE
Entries are indexed by local reference and accession. Filed sheets are available through the public register.
Review indicates an index card retained while an event sheet is checked against the service copy.
The SHA-256 value is calculated for the index card; it does not change when an event sheet is attached.
For a Review entry, the copy reconciliation queue prints the first twelve characters of this SHA-256 as its index seal. Compare that seal to the index cards before opening a transfer docket.
